Berghaus Ladies Rucksacks

In addition, Berghaus have reduced the height of the hip belt to prevent the hip belt digging under the rib cage. So that it sits comfortably on the hip they have also developed a customised fit on the bottom of the hip fin.

When fitting the rucksack, getting the hip belt in the correct position first will ensure that adjustments to the rest of the harness and webbing can be made for the optimum carrying comfort. Adjustments to the Biofit back system can be made by pulling down on the webbing pull. Designed for carrying and keeping large loads stable, the Biofit back system has padded shoulder straps and when the shoulder straps are in contact with the top and back of the shoulder are at the correct fitting.

Not ones to rest on their laurels, Berghaus have made revisions to their innovative and award winning Bioflex® back system that works with the body's natural movement; it flexes when you flex, it twists when you do and bends when you bend.

Berghaus rucksacks in the Freeflow range enable the rucksack to sit away from the back thus allowing air to circulate between the rucksack and the body. The purpose of this is to avoid a clammy feeling when perspiration has no where to go. Berghaus have further refined this system with the Freeflow IV that incorporates a smaller mesh panel that improves airflow and perspiration reduction by having more gaps in the mesh. Breathability and therefore comfort for the wearer has also increased with EVAbreathe foam added onto the shoulder straps. EVAbreathe® Matrix Foam Technology allows for moisture vapour transfer and to ensure the foam does not collapse has an inter-linked matrix of cavities.
