Since the popularity of the vodka martini there has been an explosion of different creative martini's on the market.

Having been bombarded with how good berries are for you (due mainly to their antioxidant properties) I have hunted down some delicious berry flavored martinis.

From strawberry to blueberry, raspberry to blackberry I have found some absolutely delicious berry flavored cocktail recipes for you to enjoy and best of all they're so easy to make!

Blue Curacao Cocktail



Baby Face Martini

2 shots strawberry vodka
1 shot dry vermouth
1 shot cherry liqueur

Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Berritini

2 shots blackcurrant vodka
1 shot chambord
½ shot freshly squeezed lemon juice

Shake all of the ingredients together with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Berry Blue

2 shots gin
1 shot blue curacao
1 shot chambord

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Martini Glasses

What good is a delicious martini if you have no martini glasses. Having just the right glass makes the drink taste even more delicious.

Berry Chocolate Martini

½ shot blackberry schnapps
½ shot raspberry vodka
1 shot white creme de cacao

Pour all of the ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass to serve.

Berry White

2 shots raspberry vodka
½ shot triple sec
½ shot freshly squeezed lime juice

Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Blackberry Martini

2 ½ shots blackberry vodka
1 ½ blackberry liqueur

Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

Cocktail Shakers

Are your martini's shaken or stirred? Well nearly all the berry martinis seem to be shaken which means we need a cocktail shaker.

Anyone who is serious about cocktails should invest in a good quality shaker. I like one which incorporates a strainer in it and also looks good!

Blueberries Print



Blueberry Martini

½ cup fresh blueberries
2 ½ shots vodka
¼ shot blackberry liqueur
1 dash blue curacao

Muddle the blueberries with vodka in the base of a shaker. Splash in the blackberry liqueur and blue curacao and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Chambord Martini

1 splash chambord
2 shots gin

Shake the ingredients together with ice and strain into a cocktail glass to serve.

Chocolate Raspberry Martini

1½ raspberry vodka
1 shot white creme de cacao

Pour the vodka into a cocktail glass and then the creme de cacao. Garnish with a chocolate kiss and a fresh raspberry.

When it comes to fruit cocktails you will often find yourself needing a muddler. There are wooden ones and metal ones to choose from and no cocktail bar is worth it's salt without one.

Cranberry Martini



Crantini

2 shots cranberry vodka
1 shot cranberry juice

Shake them together with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass

Desperate Martini

2 ½ shots gin
½ shot dry vermouth
½ shot blackberry liqueur

Shake all of the ingredients together with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Naughty By Nature

2 ½ shots raspberry vodka
½ shot triple sec
½ shot cranberry juice
1 dash of freshly squeezed lime juice.

Shake all ingredients together with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Pontberry Martini

1 shot vodka
1 ½ teaspoons blackberry liqueur
2 shots cranberry juice

Shake all of the ingredients together with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Raspberry Martini

6 fresh raspberries
2 shots gin
1 shot chambord
½ shot sugar syrup

Muddle the raspberries with the gin in the base of a shaker. Pour in the chambord and sugar syrup, shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass.

    Appletinis are definately great, I have them on my other lens www.squidoo.com/abc_of_cocktails but I do love berries and chocolate combos!

    Personally my favorite flavored martini is an appletini! I'm a fan of granny smith apples and love the taste of these -- on the tangy side. Cool lens! 5*****
