    I have a feeling that Bertha would be thrilled to know what you are doing to keep her memory alive. What an amazing woman. All these old photos are wonderful and I really like the one for the book cover.

    Thank you, resabi, for blessing this lens. I do feel quite fortunate to have the pictures and family memories. That's why I'm trying to collect even more before it is too late.

    I hope you are able to find out even more about your Great Aunt. I enjoyed reading about the fix for the burning tree when she was young. My grandmother and your Aunt are from the same "greatest generation". Thankfully my grandmother (who has just passed away) wrote down stuff for us too. Thanks for sharing the memories of your Aunt.
