Bertha Earthworm was starting to squirm.
You see she found herself tied around a fishing hook.
As it started to sink she knew she had to think
Before a hungry fish came along to have a look.

When she managed to get untied there was no place to hide
And she knew it was no time to break down and weep.
It would be too big of a chore to try to swim to shore
So she decided that it was best to try to go deep.

What was waiting in store once she reached the ocean floor
Had to be better than waiting for a fish to come and attack.
She knew if she lingered it would so she swam as fast as she could
Because she did not like the idea of becoming a snack.

Nothing could have been sweeter than to have SpongeBob there to greet her
Who was all too eager to tell her about his magical flying bus ride.
He said we have just come from Atlantis, don't make fun of my SquarePantis,
I wish that I could wear normal clothes, believe me I have tried.

Now back to the trip, it was not one I wanted to skip,
So let me tell you what the adventure was all about.
You have to be clever to partake of this endeavor
Because you need to hurry before the king's patience runs out.

There was fine art to see, I am glad Patrick was with me
Hitting tourists with Crabby Patties moved them out of the way.
Flash photography was forbidden, I couldn't take pictures with my camera hidden
So I hit the guards with Crabby Patties before they had anything to say.

If the truth be told there are rooms filled with gold
Which by the way is a Mr. Krabs dream come true.
When the spotlight comes on then hide, there are spaces that are wide
So in order to get across working as a team is the thing to do.

We took a tour we did not regret, we had to avoid the traps that were set.
The Lord Royal Highness himself was our very own guide.
Repairs to the bus could not be neglected, all the missing pieces had to be collected.
Collecting all the pieces turned out to be a very wild ride.

We had fun no doubt, that is until our welcome ran out,
So we decided leaving Atlantis was the best thing to do.
We had to sneak so not to be discovered, then our van had to be recovered.
I'm glad we left when we did otherwise I may have never met you.

Opinion
SpongeBob's Atlantis SquarePantis is great for younger children, however, it will not be much of a challenge for serious gamers. A good rule of thumb is if you are a fan of the SpongeBob Squarepants cartoon then you will more than likely enjoy this game. It has levels that help develop remote control skills and levels that demonstrate teamwork plus other levels that are just plain fun. My favorite level is Squidward Super Shooter where Sandy the squirrel turns Squidward into a ping pong ball shooting squid. Sandy's reflection on the screen is superb as if you are actually looking from the inside of her oxygen breathing suit. I also thought that this was an ingenious way of creating a first shooter concept without using guns and ammo. This is important when creating games for kids. There are great sound bytes too.
Did I just inadvertently admit that I am a SpongeBob Squarepants fan. If fans of the SpongeBob Squarepants cartoon are more than likely to enjoy this game then I guess I did because I enjoy playing this game.
