The Best Blu ray 3D Movies for Kids Available

Let me start off by saying my 3 year old son and 12 year daughter both enjoyed this movie and have asked to see it multiple times. It is funny, endearing and visually attractive. Despicable Me is about learning to follow one's own heart, discovering oneself, and being true to that self. The main character is Gru, the most evil doing villain (thief, not murderer) on the planet for a long time until a young new villian starts to outdo him. For Gru to become recognized as the No.1 bad guy of the world once again, Gru has to push his plans ahead of schedule to steal the moon from its orbit. To do this, Gru adopts three orphan girls to help him along. And here is where Gru's plans unravel along with the layers of his false self. There are plenty of silly laughs and chuckles throughout the movie and the 3D effects are well crafted and do not detract, but add to the story.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is loosley based on Judi and Ron Barrett's children's book where food falls from the sky in place of rain. This story is about a young unsuccessful inventor named Flint that has invented a machine that turns water into food. His latest invention doesn't work as it is supposed to and this is where the mischief begins and the story creates plenty of laughter. This is also a story about a boy finding himself and his father accepting his son for who he is.

My 12 year old like this more than my 3 year old who also like it.

D.J. has seen it with his own eye, but no one will believe him, not even his best friend, Chowder. However, D.J. is not imagining things. Everything he's seen is 100% true! And it's all about to get terrorfyingly worse than anything D.J could possibly imagine.

Soren escapes and searches for the Guardians, a group of ancient heroes that prevented the enslavement of owls in times past. Soren assembles his group of misfit friends and after adventures akin to Star Wars and the Lord of the Ring finds these Guardian owls to save the day for owls everywhere. My 3 year old enjoys the look of the movie but has not asked to see it again. My 12 year old daughter said she like it, but it was not a very enthusiastic response.
