They have become one of the world's best selling bands, having sold around 400 million records worldwide. They still sell two to three million records a year. ABBA was also the first group from mainland Europe to enjoy consistent success in the pop charts of English-speaking countries such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Lately, the music of ABBA has been re-arranged into the successful musical Mamma Mia! which has toured around the globe spawning a movie version that was released in July 2008.

1983: Under Attack
At the end of 1982, ABBA made their final appearance together as a band and released two singles that met with little interest: The Day Before You Came and Under Attack.
The former barely scraped into the UK Top 40 (No.32) while Under Attack made the Top 30 at No.26 in early 1983.

Of course, and the proof is that EVERYONE remembers and loves their songs to this day. I saw Mama Mia here in Vegas, and it was terrific. There has been no pop group like ABBA since they split.

- When I was at school it was not cool to like ABBA but it was strange the amount of people at school that knew the lyrics of the ABBA songs. I love ABBA songs and still sing along when I hear one on the radio.

- ABBA is without a doubt the greatest pop band ever. From the fun energy of Dancing Queen to the heart renching emotions of The Winner Takes it All, there is something there for everyone or any occasion. Best ABBA lens I've seen so far.

- It is really amazing how popular they were worldwide in the 70's and 80's. You have put together a great tribute to them. I saw Mamma Mia twice live, and my kids really loved it. Thank you, Richard, for the blessing on my compassion lens. Really appreciated! So, are you going for Giant in the next quarter?
