This is for those who are less experienced in dealing with swimming pool equipment and may save you TIME and MONEY to read this......

1)Most pool pumps DO NOT come with the electrical cord unless it specifically states so in the product description,please double check before ordering.
2)Copy and save in a safe place ALL INFORMATION regarding you pool equipment,model numbers,horsepower,brand,etc...Sometimes it may be several years before you need the information,and it will be very hard to read off of the equipment after being weathered for years.
3)NEVER "guess" what size pool pump your system requires,it MUST be specifically matched to both the pool size and the size of the filter! If you are unsure,check with a pool care expert.
4)If you are not an experienced electrician,DO NOT try to hard-wire the motor or work on the electrical components inside in any way.Call an electrician or a pool care professional.
5)Never let a swimming pool pump run dry or with low water.10 minutes is enough to destroy the pump and/or melt the plastic impeller.
6)If you are unsure,check with a professional first!
