Which games are the Best Action Games For PC ?

Actually, this is a very good question because there is so many action games and different flavors. So I will chose for me Action Games For PC and present it to you.

But first what is a Action Game ?
Action Game is a video game genre in which it is important to have a good physical challenges, including hand to eye coordination and of course a good reaction-time. The genre includes different subgenres such as shooter games, fighting games, and platform games, which are often considered as the most important action games and also some real-time strategy games are considered to be action games.

The action game genre is probably the most popular one and therefore I will present some of the Best Action Games For PC.

Like I said Action Game is a video game genre in which it is important to have a good physical challenges, including hand to eye coordination and of course a good reaction-time.
All that started in year 1978 with a game called Space Invaders which is now a iconic example from the action genre. Since Space Invaders the action game genre dominated in game industry.
Then in year 1993 Doom was released. Doom was one of the earliest first-person shooters and the most popular for that time.
From then until now it has changed a lot especially in graphics and gameplay. Now graphics are very close to reality and for example we can take Crysis 2, which runs on CryEngine 3 and is for now one of the best game engines and is used in the Best Action Games For PC.

Batman: Arkham City

Batman: Arkham City is a action-adventure game which was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.
Batman: Arkham City is the best rated action game on gamespot.com. Game is played with Batman in a city called Gotham City. This crime infested metropolis has been first imagined in comic books (Spring 1940, The Joker), then in cartoons and in films. And now with this video game we get a new vision of Gotham city with one of the most exciting and richly detailed environments that were ever seen in a PC game. I did not play this game yet but it sounds well and that is why I need to try it !

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is for me one of the Best Action Games For PC. I especially like the multiplayer mode in all Call of Duty games. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a first-person shooter video game and is the eighth game from the Call of Duty series.
Story of the game is going on in the future (year 2016) and is continuing from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The game is also interesting because you play in true cities such as London and New York. You need to try this game and play online with your friends in multiplayer mode because its one of the Best Action Games For PC.

My opinion:
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is for me the most popular action game. In the game, I like the campaign, which continues from previous two parts. I also like the graphics and gameplay that is typical for Call of Duty games. Multiplayer mode is again excellent. After the campaign, you can enjoy the excellent Spec Ops mode. That are the reasons why is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 for me the Best Action Games For PC.

Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 also called BF3 is a first person shooter game which was developed by EA DICE and published by EA. Battlefield 3 is the eleventh game from the Battlefield series and is one of the most popular action and multiplayer games.
In campaign, players are playing the personas of several military roles; a F-18 officer, a USMC recon Marine, an M1A2 Abrams operator, and a SPETSNAZ operative. The campaign is taking you in places at various locations, from France(Paris) to New York and Iran, and follows the story of Sergeant Blackburn and Dimitri Mayakovsky. Battlefield 3 is perfect for online play.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is a role-playing game in the Assassin's Creed series developed by Ubisoft and also published by Ubisoft. Assassin's Creed: Revelations is the fourth game from the Assassin's Creed series and is for me one of the Best Action Games For PC based on the story and gameplay.
Game is played with a real hero named Ezio Auditore di Firenze who cannot live forever and so he steps aside for new champions in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Revelations is another quality entry in a quality series of four games, and it unleashes you in a stunning re-creation of Constantinople in 16th-century. Accessories to the movement mechanics makes exploring the city a real joy in high flying parkour, flinging up exterior walls and leaping across rooftops in Constantinople like a Renaissance superhero. I recommend that you try this game because it's really one of the Best Action Games For PC.

My opinion:
Assassin's Creed: Revelations is for me one of the best action games. I love all parts of a story that continues from the first Assassin's Creed game. Places where the game is played are excellent and so is a real pleasure to trample on the roofs and explore the city. I am glad that each new Assassin's Creed contains something new which makes the game even more special.

Crysis 2

Crysis 2 is a first-person shooter game developed by Crytek and published by EA. Crysis 2 is the second and a half game from the Crysis series. Second and a half is because there was an expansion Crysis Warhead.
In the game player takes the role of a Marine called Alcatraz. Similar to the precursor, it provides freedom to customizing weaponry and abilities. Developers wanted to avoid another game set in a true jungle environment like first game of the series and that is why they choose New York City as an "urban jungle". The urban atmosphere makes new options planning attacks and progressing. Players are able to move between buildings and floors in buildings, as well as a destroyed streets and buildings. Crysis 2 can be proud of their CryEngine 3 which produces one of the best graphics in the present and that is why this game is one of the Best Action Games For PC.

My opinion:
Crysis 2 is a very good game that has excellent graphics, special effects and gameplay. The graphics and environment are really amazing. Maybe at the beginning of the game its a bit boring but this will soon change with great battles. New nanosuit offers us many opportunities to improvements which makes the game more interesting. According to graphics in the game and environment I can certainly say that Crysis 2 is one of the Best Action Games For PC.

F.E.A.R. 3

F.E.A.R. 3 also called F.3.A.R is a horror first-person shooter game developed by Day 1 Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. F.E.A.R. 3 is the third game from the F.E.A.R. series.
F.E.A.R. 3 campaign is devided in to eight diffrent levels that are called intervals (Prison, Slums, Store, Suburbs, Tower, Bridge, Port and Ward). Each of this interval is taking place in a different map as Point Man and Fettel search continues for a man who impregnated their mother called Alma in previous game F.E.A.R. 2 . This is a horror game so I would not recommend this game to people with poor stomach.

Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 3 is a role-playing game developed by BioWare and published by EA. Mass Effect 3 is the eleventh game from the Mass Effect series.
The plot will begin on planet Earth with Commander Shepard on trial for the consequences of her actions in previous Mass Effect 2, and during the trial process the Earth is attacked by Reapers. Faced with difficult tasks, Commander Shepard is forced to leave the Earth in order to gather support soldiers from aliens and to plan a counter-attack while having to deal with Cerberus.

Medal of Honor

Medal of Honor also called MoH is a first-person shooter game which was developed by EA DICE and published by EA. Medal of Honor is a reboot to the original Medal of Honor from 1999 and is the twelfth game from the Medal of Honor series.
The campaign of Medal of Honor takes place in Afghanistan in year 2002 when NATO forces attacked Taliban insurgents and al-Qaeda. For the first half of Medal of Honor you assume the role of a DEVGRU (The United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group). For the remainder of the game you assume the role of a U.S. Army Ranger, Delta Force sniper and a Apache gunner. My opinion is that the Medal of Honor is like Call of Duty Modern Warfare but for me Call of Duty Modern Warfare is slightly better Action Game.

My opinion:
Medal of Honor is at first sight like Call of Duty Modern Warfare but not so good. The campaign is interesting but is in bad light because unrealistic opponents. Overall, the game is considered as a solid.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a SciFi action role playing game developed by Eidos and published by Square Enix. Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the third game from the Deus Ex series.
The game is played in 2027 when multinationals have developed their businesses beyond the control of governments. The game is played with Adam Jensen who was mortally wounded by an industrial terrorist sabotage. He is forced to undergo radical life-saving surgeries. On returning he starts the search for those responsible for the attack.

My opinion:
In Deus Ex: Human Revolution I liked the story that offers many possibilities. Otherwise, I'm not the biggest fan of science fiction action games, but this game pulls you into the story and you can only enjoy the exciting game. For this game I can say that is one of the Best Action Games For PC

Fallout: New Vegas

Fallout: New Vegas is an action role-playing game developed by Obsidian and published by Bethesda. Fallout: New Vegas is the fourth game from the Fallout: series.
Game is played in a role of a courier who is working for the Mojave Express. While he was delivering a platinum poker chip to New Vegas, he was ambushed by Benny (Leader of one of the New Vegas Casinos) who robs the chip and shoots the courier in the head. A robot has seen the shooting and he takes the courier to a doctor. Now the game starts for you. You enter your information and choose your appearance. And now you begin the journey to avenge the attack and to find the robbed chip, all while you explore the Mojave Wasteland.

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad

Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is a first-person shooter game published by Tripwire Interactive and also developed by Tripwire Interactive. Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is the second game from the Red Orchestra series and is based on World War II and the Battle for Stalingrad.
In the game you perform missions that are based on events in World War II among Russia and Germany. Game developers also used real clothing, vehicles and weapons which behave realistically with bullet drooping and bullet spin taken into account. The game is primarily presented in Stalingrad with interesting maps and gameplay.

My opinion:
Actually I like the game of the WW II but in this I wasnt impressed. Otherwise, the story itself is quite dynamic with missions where you can operate with tanks. But still for me the Call of Duty WW II games are better.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is a role-playing Action Game which was developed by Big Huge Games and 38 Studios and Published by EA.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is featuring with five different district regions, four different races and three different classes tree with 22 abilities. Player starts playing as a blank slate but can then choose among three classes. When playing you can invest in a skill to unlock different destinies which is the class system for the game. Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is similar to a RPG game like God of War and is based on the timing of button presses to win in the combat. Player can also interact with most of the items in the environment. It is worthy of trying !

Nuclear Dawn

Nuclear Dawn is a first-person shooter real-time strategy game which was developed and published by InterWave Studios.
Nuclear Dawn is a Multiplayer game in which you can choose among two different sides (Consortium and Empire), among four different classes (Exo, Assault, Stealth and Support) and for the last you choose one weapon. Actually I did not played this game yet but what I have seen, I am certain to say that this is one of the Best Action Games For PC.
