This anime is about a top law student who one day comes too hold the death note. Light Yagami finds the notebook and meets Ryuk the death god, who explains that if anyone's name is written in the death note that person will die. You can specify the way in which that person dies, or leave it blank for a heart attack.

Light Yagami than begins forming his own idea's about his "perfect world" as he kills criminals that he sees fit. Nicknamed by himself and the public as Kira he begins his ruthless crime spree so that he can cleanse this world to be pure. Many criminals die in the series as it brings up such themes as right and wrong, and the power of the human spirit over evil.

Light Yagami meets many characters along the way, but the one that gives him the most trouble is L, this top secret agent at first studies Kira's crimes to bring up a profile of this murderer. He eventually finds his way to Light, and things start getting worse from there.

The death note is a book used by the gods of death and can be passed down by death or stolen. Gods of death use the death notes to take human life, however if a god of death possess two of the notebooks the god would than be able to pass it down to a human.

This anime is absolutely one of the most interesting, if you dont believe me try it. You wont regret it I give this anime a 10/10 ranking!

Dragonball Kai

The retelling of Dragonball Z, more accurately based on the manga. This Dragonball is fast paced and goes through the story very quickly making it irresistable for the next action fan. If you havent seen Dragonball Z, Dragonball Kai is a great retelling.

Although in Japanease, many fan coders have gone and translated it for anyone that speaks
english! This anime is featured in 720p, and is very crystal clear on the images.

Plot:

One day a visitor comes to earth, his name is Raditz but what does he want with Goku? What Goku is a saiyan? this series starts off explaining who Goku really was and where he was really from, the planet Vegeta. Although Goku figures out hes a saiyan he still takes on this terrific foe only to learn that more trouble awaits him around every corner. 8/10 ratings !!!!

This is a manga series, turned anime and video game. The story tells of a child that had all of his body parts taken away because of the greed of his father. Daigo Kagemitsu promised forty eight fiends pieces of his sons body in order for him to become the most powerful in the world. When Hyakimaru was born his mother noticed the atrocity and let him adrift in the river. The young boy was found by Dr.Honma he soon realized this boy was special, he than used parts from children who died in the war.

Ever since Hyakkimaru came to the Doctor he'd been visited by goblins so he entrusted swords and weapons with Hyakkimaru. When the doctor died hyakki figured out about the curse that was laid upon him. He needed to destroy forty eight fiends in order to become whole again. When his journey begins he comes across a young thief named dororo who pretends to be a boy.

This anime came out in 1969, but the power of the story could easily drag anybody in. I give the anime a 8/10!

Since than their has been a game called blood will tell, that is based off the story. The game is very well done and kept me entranced for hours.

Besides the video game a movie was released in 2007 sharing the same name Dororo although it wasn't the best fantasy movie created it was still very enjoyable check it out Dororo (2007)

Trigun is about a man named Vash the Stampede and two employee's of the Bernadelli Insurance Society. The two girls follow Vash around to try and stop the damage that occurs when he appears, however trouble just follows Vash around because of the the 60 billion double dollar reward on his head. Apparently Vash destroyed the town of July but due to amnesia dosent remember this happening. Throughout the series Nicholas D. Wolfwood appears many times to help this Vash.

Later in the series we learn about the mysterious planet Gunsmoke and how humans ended up there. Trigun has a comedic presence throughout the series but ends up becoming very dark at the end when Vash faces off against his greatest enemy.

This anime has a space western feel, and spans over 26 episodes. I give this series a ranking of 9/10!

The Complete Boxed Set

Hellsing was originally A manga based around the holy order of the protestant Knights, which was led by Van Hellsing. The purpose of this organization is too protect the queen and the country from all evil and supernatural forces. The organization is now led by Sir Integra, after the death of her father long ago, at the hands of her uncle. She is a very powerful force to reckon with as she is also protected by supernatural forces. Intergra has many followers including the hellsing families butler and former hellsing "trashman" Walter.

The most powerful of the Orginazation is Alucard a vampire that sworn his hand to Van Hellsing after being defeated a hundred years before. In the first episode of Hellsing Alucard changes a rookie cop into a vampire after being fatally wounded, her name Is Seras Victoria. She joins forces to help finish evil. As matters get worse Sir Integra finds out that their are still traces of a Nazi group called Millennium, and they are intent on bringing back the third Reich through an army of vampires.

Towards the ending of the series War breaks out on three frontiers, but the reason is unclear for the assault on Hellsing until Millennium finally reveal they just want to destroy the vampire alucard, ending the feud that started back in World War 2. Rating is 7/10!
