Best Article Directories: SEO Yourself To The Top
If you have been involved in internet marketing and specifically article marketing for any amount of time, you know that submitting articles to article directories is a great way to drive people to your websites. This traffic-driving phenomenon is due to two main things:
1) Links in your articles - In your article (usually at the end of what's known as the bio box), you will be able to add a couple of links that will take those who click them to any webpage you want.
2) Backlinks - It's a discussion for another time, but basically each backlink you have counts sort of as a 'vote' for your website. Google takes that as a good thing. So the higher the quantity and QUALITY of your backlinks, the higher you will see your website appear in the search engine. Each of these links pointing from an article to your website is a backlink.
A great way to get these links and backlinks is by submitting articles to article directories, and then linking back to your website/webpage of choice. Below is a list of my favorite 16 article directories.

These are some of the big guns. Looking for Directories with a high Google page rank (PR) is a good idea, because Google trusts these sites. At the time of writing the best of these directories have a page rank of 6 or 7.
