You can publish articles on Squidoo in order to generate traffic to your website, by creating a company profile and publishing informative content related to your business.

2. Create Beautiful Articles at Hubpages

Another place where you can create good looking articles is hubpages. Similar to Squidoo you can add pictures and create polls to create a two way communication with your readers. You can easily drag and drop text modules with diferent graphics. Anybody who can write can now easily publish articles.

On the other hand, the article directory can still help you generate a lot of extra traffic, since good articles published on it are ranked highly by Google.

BONUS TIP: Submit articles to GoArticles.com

Unlike ArticleBase, GoArticles allows you to build backlinks. It's much smaller than the previous article directories mentioned so far, but it's really useful as it tends to be ranked well by Google. Use it if you want to drive more traffic to your website.

In the end remember that the more unique content you feed search engines, the higher your web pages will be ranked. And that it's crucial for the reputation of your website to ensure that your articles are of high quality.
