Best Atomic and Satellite Clocks Daylight Savings Time Change
Ranked #6,836 in Home & Garden, #103,701 overall
Satellite Clocks Make It Easy to Fall Back or Spring Forward
Another time change is coming! Let an atomic clock keep time for you, and never change your clocks again. If the power goes out, no scramble to reset your electric clocks.
These kinds of clocks are often called atomic or satellite clocks because they receive a radio signal generated from the US Atomic Clock in Colorado. They keep exact time, originating from this extremely accurate timekeeping system, with an error of only one second in 100 million years.
Whenever the time changes for daylight saving time, or back to standard time, the clock automatically resets to keep your clock up to date. Just set it and forget it!
This frees you to use another anniversary date to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, like July 4 or January 1.

Oregon Scientific RM313PNA Self-Setting Projection Alarm Clock with Indoor Thermometer, Blue

I have an earlier version of this clock, and it's been my favorite ever since. No wonder there are more than 350 customer reviews of this product on Amazon.
I carry mine around the house and out to the car each spring and fall, when it's time for the time change. It makes the job easier and every other clock in the house shows a consistent time, at least until the next time change!
This model has the same time projection feature as my clock. If you want the time projection on the ceiling all the time, you have to plug it in. If you only need to see that occasionally, then batteries alone work fine.

Just Keep Your Clock Fueled With Batteries
Many Clocks Take AA Batteries
These Energizer batteries get top marks for lasting the longest, especially in electronic devices, like the atomic clocks.I like lithium batteries
My digital camera loves them, too. There is a rechargeable version that also gets acclaim for long life.
The projection clock resets itself. This can take about 10 minutes.

- I have had a school house style atomic wall clock for about a year, one that I purchased from The National Geographic catalogue. I agree, when you change the batteries, it is quite something to see it do 'its thing'. Up until yesterday it worked great until we had to change the batteries, it has now stopped three hours behind our time, making it on par with Pacific Standard time. Is there anyway of correcting this?

- I do it all manually, I never knew about these atomic clocks until now. What a neat idea. Btw, I'm generally not a fan of DST anyway.

- I have to say my Oregon Scientific alarm clock has been the best clock I've had, ever. It is not too loud like most. The light is perfect, I can see the date, the day of week and the temperature. It will show the time on the ceiling too. It's cool when electric goes out and it stays on because of the batteries.

- The time changes are really fairly artificial. My body clock doesn't shift. Those circadian rhythms seem to rule. Nevertheless, there are all those clocks to adjust! I'd love to have an atomic clock.

- This is 21st century living! I have one in my RV (my home away from home)
and it never misses a beat.
My wife on the other hand is still in the 20th century. Poor girl. LOL
The daylight savings change drives her nuts!
Good entertainment though, wouldn't miss it.

- I'm thinking every clock in the house, though I have some specialty and sentimental clocks. Perhaps they'll invent a retrofit for those.
