The ultimate baby shower is something every mother-to-be would love to enjoy.

Think of it, pink or blue decorations perhaps, an elaborate diaper cake as a center-piece, complete with just about every little thing babies need, from bibs to diaper cream! Then, the gifts serve as a delightful display of the very best items set up on the registry at Babies R Us and Baby Gap.

That means gorgeous toys, soft and machine washable clothes, and more useful stuff like a baby first aid kit and a perhaps, from the nearest and dearest relatives, a top-of-the-line stroller or car seat.

There's nothing more exciting for moms-to-be than having baby paraphernalia around them. It sounds like a cliché but trust me, it's true in the vast majority of cases, especially late on in the pregnancy.

Unfortunately, the ultimate baby shower eludes most moms. Some moms don't even get baby showers, so the first problem is that someone has to recognize and take the initiative to plan the event for mom in the first place.
