The concept of Apples to Apples is pretty easy: match the adjective card on the table with a noun or verb card from your hand. But that's only the tip of the iceberg. I remember playing this game by making our own battleship boards on paper with numbers down the left site and letters across the top of the page. We would then draw in the battle ships in the grid and begin to play. No board game needed. But talk about fun, we had boat loads of it.
