Non Fiction for Teenage Boys

Many teenage boys prefer reading non fiction books. There are lots of great non fiction books out there. Many of the teens I used to work with like books and autobiographies about their favorite sports heros and teams. If they aren't into sport, think about autobiographies of teenage boys favorite stars, tales of survival, books on how to achieve their dreams. Teenage boys often like non fiction books with stats about sport and facts about other things. Good book ideas for facts and stats reading include the Guiness Book of Records and Ripleys Believe it or Not. Read on for some good non fiction books for teenage boys.

My son also likes anything by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Adventure, dystopian type reads. These are at a reading level he can handle. He is a low reader and these come in low enough for him to handle. (He's 12) I've created lots of book lists for struggling readers. Feel free to check them out here - http://www.jennascribbles.com/category/struggling-readers/

There needs to be more great books for sturggling readers. Parents and kids have a difficult time finding them.
