Summer Learning: Fun books teach children how to calm themselves, manage their anger, and get to sleep fast.

It's summertime. The children are running in and out. Their friends are staying overnight more, and they're all staying up later. In fact, the whole household schedule has gone haywire.

By the time bedtime comes, the children are so wound up that the bed is nothing more than a trampoline. Too much energy. How to turn it off?

Author, Lori Lite, has found a way using tried and true methods that she's written into children's books and CDs. There's the potential to help millions and millions of children, teens and adults to unwind, calm their bodies, manage their anger, and get themselves to sleep faster.

Great idea from Lori Lite

I first heard of Lori Lite on the show, Shark Tank. This TV show sets entrepreneurs before a panel from which they hope to find a partner. The entrepreneur presents her invention and what she needs, which is usually a dollar amount in exchange for a percentage of equity.

Barbara Corcoran, from Shark Tank, helped Lori get a contract with Borders stores.

Lori had developed a set of books for children that incorporates stress management techniques that are "used by both traditional and holistic communities." From the moment I heard about Lori's work, I knew it was going to be a winner.

On Shark Tank, Lori accepted panel member, Barbara Corcoran's counter-offer, and recently celebrated her products' arrival at Borders.

My little introduction story up top can be seen as just talking about the stress on the parents. On the surface, maybe, but behind it all is the very real potential danger to our children's health if they don't learn how to handle stress.

You know stress. I know stress. But, our children are far from immune to it. In fact, they live with it every day. Trying to keep up with technology, their grades. Making the right friends, overhearing and worrying about mom and dad's money woes, fearing mom and dad might divorce. Stalkers and bullies online, at school. ... Many, many other issues particular to the child and his or her life situation.

So, you can see why I'm excited to tell you about Lori Lite and her Stress Free Kids (tm) success.

These look like great books, and it really is important for kids to learn to unwind. When I was growing up we used to read adventure stories and go off into another world. Enid Blyton, who I just created a lens about, wrote wonderful books about children going off on adventures, and it was a great escape. Playing video games can often result in children getting more stressed, which is another reason they should learn to read books. Great ideas, and I love the color scheme, blessed.

Our kids always read books before sleeping, to help them unwind. Then, I will read something to them just before switching off the light. These books look great!
