Best Budget Hotels in Bangkok Close To BTS Sky Train Stations
Bangkok is a city full of budget hotels that are really affordable. Best thing of all is that even though you didn't spend a lot for a room you will be surprised at how good the quality of Bangkok's budget hotels really are.
But there is a real advantage to staying at a hotel that is near a BTS (Bangkok Transit System) station where you can catch the Sky Train. Sky Trains run quietly above on elevated train tracks along part of a major avenue called Sukhumvit Road in central Bangkok as well as parts of the business district of Silom to up north where Chatuchak, the largest open air market in the world is found.
Taking a Sky Train is easy and cheap. Most importantly they are air very well air conditioned. Which really comes in handy during an often hot Bangkok day. Each station has maps in English and the attendants working in the station booths speak English. Even all stops are announced in English. It's a very tourist friendly way to explore the city to say the least.
So it's easy to see why staying at a hotel near a BTS station gives tourists and travelers alike a strategic location for exploring Bangkok and all of its delights.

All of the budget hotels mentioned below are less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest BTS station
The hotels listed below are very popular and not only is it because they are all near a BTS station, but because they are clean and well run by courteous and professional staff. Most people make the mistake of staying at a Holiday Inn or any other similar Western managed company and end up paying more than necessary. Hotels operated and run by local Thais offer a real good value and should really not be passed up.

A video review of Hope Land Executive Residences on Sukhumvit Soi 46/1
Recently I received a request to make a review of this popular Thai managed service apartment property. Don't worry. In Bangkok serviced apartments are run exactly the same way as a hotel, complete with professional hospitality. I highly recommend staying at Hope Land Executive Serviced Apartments.
