Omron MicroAir Nebulizer - The Smallest, Quietest Nebulizer Around

Buy Omron MicroAir Vibrating Mesh Nebulizing System ($189.00)

I was very skeptical when I first heard of a nebulizer as small as a cellphone. Until I saw Omron Microair Nebulizer. Oh goody, now a substitute for metered dose inhalers! Not only the smallest, it is also the world's quietest nebulizer. Raving reviews are everywhere in the internet, so if you don't have this one yet, you might want to reconsider! So astounding.

"This is the best Neb I have ever used! The extremely fine mist is more effective than the table top compressor I was using. I cannot use the MDI's anymore since they changed the propellent, so I went to this. It is so quiet I can use it sitting in a theatre (movie or live performance) and no one is the wiser. And in the case it is no bigger than a glasses case."

Spotlight: Pari Proneb Nubulizer

Pari Proneb Nebulizers Review ~ What Makes It So Special?

buy nebulizers
Buy Pari Proneb Nebulizer
($84.00 / Free Shipping)

Pari Proneb Nebulizer must be the most popular nebulizer in the United States, because of sleek cool design and usability. The machine is very powerful, and the medication inside all gets used up, unlike other compressor nebulizers. Another great thing about Pari Proneb Nebulizer is that it lasts very long. I've seen testimonials that say they've had this nebulizer for more than five years. Now that's value for your money.

"We bought this compressor to replace a Pari Trek portable that my son had used for a couple years. This definitely has faster delivery speed. It takes about 9 minutes for a respule of either Xopenex (3ml) or Pulmicort (2ml). We like it because he doesn't have to be sitting straight up - it will continue to operate well even when he's lying down on the couch. The down side is that it's larger and louder than the Pari Trek. All in all, though, it's a good product!"

Spotlight: Devilbiss Nebulizer

Why Devilbiss Nebulizers Are Great?

buy nebulizers
Buy Devilbiss PulmoMate Compressor/Nebulizer
($64.75 / Free Shipping)

Could be a biased pick, but Devilbiss Nebulizer was my very first nebulizer since my asthma was activated again in my teens. I had it for around four years, and I've never had a problem with it. Yes, this nebulizer is a bit noisy, but it is also packed with power. What I love about Devilbiss Nebulizer is that I've always got to maximize my medicine I put in it. With the rising price of medication, you want to get the value of every penny you spend.

"I've had my Pulmomate for a few years, and I crank it up whenever I get an exacerbation of my asthma with thick mucus or get bronchitis/flu/pneumonia. I always keep nebulizer meds at home (doc is amenable), so having a dependable nebulizer is important. Pretty much, you just make sure the filter is clean (easy to replace), have a clean cup/mask attachment handy, add your medication into the cup and turn on. Presto, nicely aerosolized med for your pulmonary needs. Granted, noisy, but I've never had a non-noisy nebulizer and this one is a bit less noisy than my ancient contraption it replaced."

Purchasing one of these can be very confusing. When I worked as a Home Health RN I would spend my time with the family members helping them in purchasing one of these for their loved ones. You gave some very good tips. Blessed by a SquidAngel.

Hi, great lens! I had to use a nebulizer for my son when he was younger. He uses ventolin now when he needs it. I love the way you've set this lens up, it's very informative.

I find a baby bottle sterililsing kit keeps my masks, cups etc., germ and mould free. drain and dry them then place in resealable plastic bags.

I think the problem with the new jet nebulisers is they work too well, faster and quieter than my ancient old box that could take up to 45 minutes to expel the liquid but I got much better relief, felt the air right down in my lungs. I thought the old one wasn't working as well as it should, couldn't see it misting up as much as i had seen newer ones do and it's very slow but much more efficient. There is no point in saving time and worring over electricity consumption if your not getting any benefit. with the new one i honestly felt like using my puffer after it. dont think they even had a warranty but they could have given one for 25 years! That's the age of my old box and still going strong with a powerful jet stream that just seems to peeter out at the mask end. I now think that the mist is a lot finer than the newer model thats why i dont see it billowing out and why it takes so much longer, but boy its worth it if you have the time and patience, maybe better for us older folk, children would get impatient, also found after using the newby my heart pounded like crazy. Maybe idea to rent a couple of different brands before you buy - my two I could compare with an old classic car and a new jap model. big difference there!

I had to use a nebulizer with my son from birth till he was around 3 because he was premature and his lungs were so weak that he seemed to keep bronchitis. I never knew there were so many choices! Great job!
