I also adore cake plates without domes.In fact, any special cake plate will do!
It's just so special to serve a cake on a special plate, for me the fancier the better.
While there are gorgeous cake plates that sit flat on the table, nothing can beat a cake plate with a pedestal.
With or without a dome over it.
I could just look at cake plates (with or without cakes) all day long.
The cool thing is that cake plates don't have to be only for cakes!

- I didn't realize there were so many inventive products for holding and carrying cupcakes. To be honest, I buy mine usually and they tend not to leave the house afterwards unless its in my belly. :)
