Python did have a defective batch of the Python 592 put out early, so there are some bad customer reviews for this product. They have however resolved the problem and their support was very good about replacing the defective products.

With the remote Python have gone with a larger longer range model (up to 1 mile). Some won't like the size though.

All the features that it has advertised do work, they work very well and most people who have this installed into their cars are more than happy with what they get for their money. The two-way remote adds that little bit of extra security and is always an good feature on any alarm system. It has a good range to it.

It really is a bargain for what it can do in the way of security for a car. Everyone who has purchase a Viper alarm has appeared to be completely satisfied with their purchase. There are a few little niggles but then that is to be expected of any high tech alarm system.

Viper have a good reputation in the car alarm market and the Responder 350 is a good example of why they do.

The Crimestopper car alarm system is loud, very loud which when choosing a good alarm is just what is needed to know that the vehicle is safe from theft. A nice feature is that once the alarm is turned on it automatically immobilises the vehicle, so even if a thief manages to break into the vehicle they will not be able to start it. This is a good idea that anyone who is serious about getting a good reliable alarm system would find attractive.

Added to the whole alarm package is a small alarm which will sound off intermittently, even when the vehicle is slightly bumped or nudged again a great idea when it comes to alarming a car that is parked in the street.

Every type of alarm that sounds off will be recorded on the central control box of the alarm system. This means that owners can see what time an alarm was triggered and which type actually went off.

Being a more basic car alarm the Crimestopper SP-300 is simpler to install and use than the other 2 alarms I looked at.

    Its a shamed you need stuff like this, but people desire what others have to the point that some can't control themselves, and want to take it, sell it, etc. People act differently when they haven't eaten for an unhealthy period of time as well.

    Utilizing security tech (sometimes in combination) will give you the most reassurance to decrease the paranoia of being a victim, and pass that to the criminals who would think more than twice before trying anything (just cover all the necessary things).

    Random attacks aren't as common as someone being the victim of someone they know (sad), so you really have to think about who you deal with as well. I say that to say that, security also begins with who you associate with, and assumptions are a perfect way to let the wrong person in your home (because you think they are good since they aren't of a certain race, occupation, etc.).

    Don't opt out for the limited alarm systems, regardless of what its for, don't give criminals a fighting chance to get away with a thing. ;)
