The gel case is great for all day use, and given the positive reviews, it seems like the best cover for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 inch, P1000.
I also really love the leather cases. They are classy and professional looking. Some of these cases convert into a stand. Keep your Samsung Galaxy Tab safe! (I speak from experience.. I ruined a smartphone by scratching it up!)

One reviewer describes this as "Incredible" and other customers tend to agree. This case is described as both a soft and a hard case. It's a gel cover and I guess somehow they have perfected it. It fits snugly, is easy to grip, and isn't as sticky feeling as silicon.
Plus you a get a bonus screen cover and stylus. Some people don't like the stylus, but if you were just looking for a case, then that's like an extra you can toss if it doesn't work well.

Unlike the gel case that won my other "best" recommendation, this case is a carrying case, which means it covers the screen, so that you can put it in your bag without worrying about scraping it. It has pockets and a zipper!
It can also be used as a stand to hold your Samsung Galaxy Tab. It has superb customer reviews, and appears to be very well designed, with even a hole for camera use! (Something that a cheaper cover forgot about!)

I love the dark blue color. It is also water resistant (although not waterproof) but should help if it rains or gets spilled on a little bit. There are no reviews for this one yet.
