1) You Will Need (2 Oz) Of Cooking Chocolate.
2) (4 Oz) Of Softened Butter.
3) (4 Oz) Of Brown Sugar.
4) 2 Eggs Slightly Beaten.
5) (4 Oz) Of Plain Flower.
6) 1/2 tsp Of Creme Of Tarter. (I use Bextartar Powder.)
7) 1/4 tsp Of Bicarbonate Soda.
8) 1 tbsp Of Cocoa Powder.

2) A 12 Cup Bun Tray.
3) A Medium Sized Glass Mixing Bowl.
4) You Will Need A Whisk To Mix The Ingredients.

Step By Step Method For Baking Cupcakes

Learn how to make/bake chocolate cupcakes from scratch


STEP 1. Melt (2oz) of light or dark chocolate in a glass bowl over a pot of hot boiling water. When chocolate is melted set to one side to allow to cool.


STEP 2. Mix (4oz) brown sugar and the (4oz) soft butter together until the mix is a pail light colour.


STEP 3. Beat in 2 eggs and then sift in your (4oz) of flour, 1/2 tea spoon, (tsp) of cream of tartar, 1/4 tea spoon, (tsp) of bicarbonate soda and 1 table spoon, (tbsp) of Cocoa powder and mix everything together until evenly mixed.


STEP 4. Divide the chocolate cupcake mix evenly into the individual baking cups, (cases) and put in the preheated oven 180 Degrees or Gas Mark 4, For 14 - 16 Minutes.
