What about Meat?Meat. Eating has become an age-long human habit that few people even have the guts to question. Here are some meat-eating myths you should know:
Myth: We are born meat-eaters.
Fact: Our digestive system and set of teeth are considered the proof that we are natural carnivores. Several plant-eaters, however, have similar features in their anatomy. Eating meat has become a convention that people confuse it as a natural human tendency. The truth is, we are even more herbivorous than carnivorous.
Myth: There's nothing like protein from meat.
Fact: Our dietary need for protein can only be addressed by red meat. First, experts from US National Research Council, World Health Organization, American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and US Food & Nutrition Board all agree that our body only needs 2.5% to 8% of protein in our recommended daily allowance (RDA). The question is: are you required your protein allowance from red meat? Certainly not! For starters, consuming protein from red meat will also mean consuming saturated fats, acidic wastes, and other unhealthy substances.
You can get your protein requirement from the following:
o Beans (27.5%)
o Vegetables like spinach (6-23%)
o Grains like quinoa (13%)

Meat products are not an excellent source of B12 either, as your body will have a hard time absorbing them. That's why everyone is advised to get B12 from dairy products and supplements.
Myth: There's absolutely no proof that meat can cause several types of cancer and heart disease!
Fact: On the contrary, numerous researches have been done on the subject. Breast, stomach, prostate and colon cancer tend to be common among people who eat meat on a regular basis. A study conducted in Harvard University showed that women who eat about 1.5 servings of meat daily have twice as much chances of developing breast cancer caused by the hormones as women who eat 1 serving thrice a week. The preservatives used in processed meat are also cancer-causing agents, just as the growth hormones injected to cattle are. And the worst?
A study by the Archives of Internal Medicine concluded that eating meat can significantly shorten a person's life.
What about white flour?
If you think you are getting your needed carbohydrates from these foods, think again.The bad news is that white flour products were produced from chemically bleached flours. 2. Interferon levels are significantly increased. Interferons are globular proteins. Interferons orchestrate every aspect of the immune system. Some interferons are produced by cells infected by viruses. These interferons warn adjacent, healthy cells of the likelihood of infection; in turn, they are rendered nonpermissive host cells.
3. Ozone stimulates the production of Tumor Necrosis Factor. TNF is produced by the body when a tumor is growing. The greater the mass of the tumor the more tumor necrosis factor is produced (up to a point). Lone cancer cells have little chance of growing due to the TNF produced to inhibit the original tumor.
4.Ozone stimulates the secretion of IL-2. Interluekin-2 is one of the cornerstones of the immune system. It is secreted by T-helpers. In a process known as autostimulation, the IL-2 then binds to a receptor on the T-helper and causes it to produce more IL-2.
5. Ozone kills most bacteria at low concentrations. The metabolism of most bacteria is on average one-seventeenth as efficient as our own.Very few types of bacteria can live in an environment composed of more than two percent ozone.
6. Ozone is effective against all types of fungi. This includes systemic Candida albicans, athletes foot, molds, mildews, yeasts and even mushrooms.
7. Ozone fights viruses in a variety of ways. As discussed above, ozone also goes after the viral particles directly. The part of the virus most sensitive to oxidation is the "reproductive structure".
8. Ozone is antineoplastic. This means that ozone inhibits the growth of new tissue because rapidly dividing cells shift their priorities away from producing the enzymes needed to protect themselves from the ozone. Cancer cells are rapidly dividing cells and are inhibited by ozone.
9. Ozone oxidizes arterial plaque. It breaks down the nnnn plaque involved in both Arteriosclerosis and Arthrosclerosis. This means ozone has a tendency to clear blockages of large and even smaller vessels. This allows for better tissue oxygenation in deficient organs.
10. Ozone increases the flexibility and elasticity of red blood cells. When one views a red blood cell under a microscope, it looks like a disc. The increase in flexibility of the RBC's allows oxygen levels to stay elevated for days, even weeks after treatment with ozone.
11. Ozone accelerates the Citric Acid Cycle. Also known as the Kreb's Cycle or TCA Cycle, this is a very important step in the glycolisis of carbohydrate for energy.
12. Ozone makes the anti-oxidant enzyme system more efficient.
13. Ozone degrades petrochemicals. These chemicals have a potential to place a great burden on the immune system. They also worsen and even cause allergies and are detrimental to your long-term health.
