For example, the use of parabens will increase the risk of breast cancer as it mimicks estrogen. Why do they use parabens in a product that you will be applying to your skin? They use them in order to preserve cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical products. There are various products that do not contain parabens as research has found that parabens are really not needed in order to preserve a product.
TEA and DEA are hormone disruptors. Unfortunately, they are cancer causing chemicals. TEA may cause contact dermatitis.
