Diana Krall Songs Video Showcase
Diana Krall is a Canadian-born Jazz pianist and singer hailing from Nanaimo, British Columbia. Music was in their family blood; Diana's father played the piano and her mother belonged to the community choir.
Diana first laid her fingers on a piano keyboard when she was just four years old and at 15 she was already playing jazz at a local restaurant.
She attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and then moved to Los Angeles, USA to pursue her jazz career. Diana Krall released her debut album in 1993 when she returned to Canada. Thus far, she has sold over 15 million albums worldwide and has won several Grammy awards and Juno awards.
I came across Diana Krall's music several years ago listening to Smooth Jazz 94.7 FM. Since then, I've listened to most of her albums. - Diana Krall is certainly at the top of my cjazz favorites and "Fly Me To The Moon" is one of her best in my opinion. She has the same affect on me as a fine glass of wine.

- "The Look of Love" is one of my favorite songs by Diana. The album "The Look of Love" captivated me and was my first introduction to her music.

- Definitely "Let's face the music and dance", but I think most of the songs on "The Girl In The Other Room" are very good, especially "Departure Bay", Black Crow" and "Narrow Daylight".

- I like her music, but sometime find that she personally comes across as a bit pretentious, sort of like a Margaret Atwood of music.Once |I get past this, the music is beautiful (although I could never quite get past this for Ms Atwood !)

- Yeah, I really like her music! In terms of the comment you made about Diana Krall being pretentious, I can't agree or disagree with you because I'd don't know her. I'd have to know her to make a statement like that. I don't like judging a book by its cover. I just enjoy her music. :)

- Thanks for this wonderful lens, AJ. So much Diana Krall to enjoy in one convenient place! I have three favorite Diana Krall songs: "Besame Mucho", "When I Look in Your Eyes", and a great one written by Joni Mitchell - "A Case of You". Watching Diana Krall perform "A Case of You" at a Joni Mitchell tribute is what first introduced me to Diana Krall.
