- Lots of compartments. The best diaper bags have lots of compartments so you can separate, diapers, wipes, a change of clothes, bottles, pacificers and all the other accessories you will need to carry.
- A wipe clean bag/easy to clean bag. You will probably use your diaper bag almost everyday so a bag which you can wipe clean or wash is often a good option.
- A portable change mat. Many top diaper bags come with a portable change mat which are great for changing diapers when you're out and about. Of course, if the bag you love doesn't come with this you could buy on separately.
- Other accessories. Some diaper bags come with lots of other great accessories such as insulated bottle pockets to keep baby's bottles warm or holders for wipes.
