This machine comes loaded with many built in designs and it will connect to a computer to give you endless options. The design area is 4x4. The machine is easy to thread and it has a touch screen LCD display.

As an owner of this great machine myself, I love it!! This is what most of the reviews say, as well. The machine is easy to use and it has some great built in fonts, designs, and sewing stitches. With the connection to the internet you can add to your design library easily and at an affordable rate. A lot of sites will also offer some of their designs for free. Although, designs are fairly inexpensive. The embroidery area is only 4x4. This will do many projects for you, but eventually I will be upgrading to a machine that will give me a larger embroidery area.

The Brother PE770 is an embroidery machine only, no sewing machine combo for this model. This embroidery machine will embroider an area of 5" x 7". This size will give you a much larger selection of choices on the internet when you are shopping for designs. There is a USB stick to download designs to your home computer and then easily transfer them to your embroidery machine.

For the price paid, you are getting a fabulous machine that is going to embellish your clothing and many other household items with a professional appearance. The cost of the machine will quickly pay for itself, if you choose to make gifts with this machine.

You will want to use a fabric stabilizer, so your designs embroider properly. It is also recommended that you use an embroidery thread when embroidering.

Having the right size hoop can make a project easier to complete and it will give you the option to put your designs on many more objects.
