Some advice on learning from videos.

When I was starting to learn the guitar from scratch, there was no Youtube, so I had hard times finding a visual support for my lessons. Nowaday youtube is flooded with hundreds of videos that teach you all kinds of tips and tricks, and many are really good ones. If you want to expand your knowledge and skills, just browse Youtube for free lessons and bookmark your favourite ones for easy access later.
If you cannot read notes, try to learn guitar tabs. They can be found anywhere online. Knowing guitar tablatures can help you better understand and learn all possible chord positions and fingering techniques.

Do not rush things once you have started learning. Take your time to learn each lesson properly before moving to something more advanced. Do not loose hope if something does not sound right - just put guitar away and let your fingers and hands have enough rest before you continue. This will keep your guitar lessons more productive in the long run.
