Full-Body Workout Programs... The Way To Go!
Why am I spending time writing about a full-body workout?
Thsi is for all the ladies out there: tired of trying the little workouts in the magazines and not getting results, tired of running on a treadmill and not getting results; tired of listening to your significant other on his fitness advice and not getting results...
Just for any women not getting fitness results!
I am sure by now you know the importance of women's weight training... but if you don't that's perfectly ok! Just click on: Women's exercise to get everything you need to learn why its crucial if you want results.
But I want to go one step further and dip into the weight training programs. It's one thing to know you have to weight train it's a complete other story when you try to actually put together a great women's workout routine that works!
And I have the answer... full-body workouts.

Why Full-Body Workout Programs For Women?
And men...
Full-body workout programs kick butt! Not only do they blast calories, burn a ton of fat, but your muscles are going to be worked hard... hard enough to get great, toned sexy lean results.It's just like it sounds like... having a workout that works your entire body. The major muscles in your body plus the smaller stabilizers. And the best part is that you don't have to spend a ton of time to get a great full-body workout.
My own personal workouts and the women's exercise programs I design are all made to take less than 45 minutes. And if you don't have 3 days to lift, 2 days can still give great results.
You won't get those benefits from doing stupid split body routines. If you miss chest day, then you just miss chest day for the entire week. But not with full-body.
Research done by Alwyn Cosgrove actually demonstrates that full-body workouts are better overall for fat burn, muscle burn, metabolism increase and so forth.
The important part to note is that you should never do back to back days. Your body needs at least 48 hours between workouts so you can completely recover and keep getting results.
Ok... so that is why total body!
More on the exercises... why waste time working a small muscle like a bicep when you can work a big huge muscle like the chest or back which also works the biceps the way you need to to keep your body balanced?
Think of the small range of motion your arm goes through when doing a bicep curl... now thing of the range of motion you go through with a pull-up or assisted pull-up? Huge difference. The bigger pull-up is going to kick the bicep curl's butt in calorie burn and muscle toning ability.
And that's the basis for my women's workout programs. Using big powerful muscles that burn calories, builds get all over muscle and delivers the results you wouldn't get on little machines or little isolated moves.
Ok... enough lets just go straight to the meat... a great example of the exercises that would make up a full-body workout!
