Your TV and Input Lag

From the lens Best TV for Gaming 2011-2012.

I'd love to hear what TV you're using as well as any results you may have from your input lag tests. Constructive feedback including recommendations for additional models which I should feature is also appreciated.

    Just bought a Sony Bravia EX640 40 inch LED 1080p and the lag is terrible in regular auto mode. Video games work good in game mode, but like the article was saying, the picture quality in game mode is awful. My friends bought samsungs and have had no problems.

    Any input lag numbers on the sharp LC32SV29U? I cant find anything anywhere about it.

    I bought a Panasonic plasma to replace a old Vizio LCD, the picture looked great for TV, but any light from windows caused extreme glare, and if I had my ceiling light on you could see it's reflection big time on the TV. This already had me 2nd guessing, but then I started playing my xbox, and the colors in games were dull compared to my old Vizio LCD. I wanted to upgrade my existing TV not have trade offs. I took the plasma back, bit the bullet and paid a little more for a Samsung LCD. I couldn't be happier. No glare, games look great, and movies are on par with the plasma. If you can get a LED TV you get the darks of a plasma, and great colors of a LCD, all at a more efficient usage of power, and thinner TV.

    I got a Samsung LN46D630 and couldn't be happier with it. It replaced my LN46C650 that got busted due to some over zealous friends. Its a great no frills tv that does just what you want it to and nothing else.
