No. Your golf grip may not be best for the shot. But say you could easily change to the correct golf grip for the shot and swing correctly every time, you would do it wouldn't you?

You are driving the ball 150-200 yards max from the golf tee and your golf grip is comfortable.....THAT'S GREAT!

Now let's say with the correct grip you could hit it further and straighter with the same comfort.... EVEN BETTER!!
