Best Golf Instruction DVD

If you're looking for the best golf instruction DVD out there today, it's perhaps not one you've heard of just yet.  The big names like Leadbetter, Bonar and Harmon are always big customer favorites but there's a much smaller, but potentially more loyal following for a guy named
Jack Moorehouse and his series of "How To Break 80" videos on DVD.

Moorehouse has a "cottage" crowd as he is not actually an official PGA Pro. In fact, he's quite the opposite, touting his working-class background and his single digit handicap as his hallmark of instruction. He's "one of us" and to most, that's the exact thing that makes his golf instruction DVD's so helpful. Part of the way the golf instruction is laid out in the DVD's is tailored toward minimal but effective practice techniques and drills. This is beneficial to all of us 9-5'ers out there that can't practice endless hours each week.

But perhaps the single most important thing that has gotten so many golfers absolutely crazy about this guy is the efficacy of the instruction.  All
you have to do is go to the web site and you can see literally dozens of testimonials from golfers around the world who are not only breaking 80 but some shooting par. I have to admit, it seemed a little rigged when I first visited the site but after getting in touch with some of the customers I found
their words to be very accurate in their description of their experiences with the How To Break 80 DVD's.

As of early 2008, Moorehouse had released the following titles for his DVD library:

He's due to have more titles this year. To be honest, if I had to rank the most popular DVD's, Leadbetter would be at the top. However, if I were grading for the best golf instruction DVD, Moorehouse's "How To Break 80" series would be more appropriate.  Why? Simple. I've never heard of so many happy customers for one golf DVD product. Whether it's that sometimes golf instruction is difficult when not done in person or the movements prove to strenuous, it's a fact that golfers are a fickle crowd.  Which is why Moorehouse's rave reviews seem all that more incredulous.
