GlassyLite Premium Headlight Restoration Treatment Review

The Glassy Lite headlight restoration kit worked really well for me. The only consideration is that you must take your time with the first two steps to make sure that the preparation is totally complete before adding the final touch sealer!

This headlamp restoration kit made my Caddy CTS look new again!

I don't usually write endorsements but this stuff really does work. I liked it because I didn't need to get out any power tools to use it. It took me about an hour to restore my 2002 Forrester's headlights to like new condition. I hadn't realized how bad they had become until I took the car to the dealership for it's normal maintenance and the tech recommended that I get the headlights treated. Their estimated cost? 157.00! I don't think so. So I looked around and this headlight lens restoration kit had some pretty good reviews. Now I know why.

Turtle Wax T-240KT Headlight Lens Restorer Kit Review

I tested this headlight lens restorer kit out on my car's heavily fogged headlamps. They were so scratched that the plastic looked frosted rather than clear. While the scrubbing liquid itself didn't clear up the plastic, tackling the lenses with the included sandpaper/scrub pads worked like a charm (with some elbow grease). The difference was amazing - it's not like they were like new again, but they were actually clear again!

I next used just the liquid on lightly scratched lenses and they came out shiny like new. It's pretty impressive stuff. It's been several weeks and the headlamps still look great. I highly recommend this product!

It's been so embarrassing driving around with my faded yellow head lights! I honestly thought these kits were nothing more than superficial and would not do good work. While having my truck serviced two weeks ago, the repair guy tried to con me to let them retore my headlights for a bargain price of $129.00. (!!!) He must have been kidding me, I mean like, really? I decided to try this headlamp restorer kit since my lights were so dark and hazy that the only light emitted was a brownish yellow faded blur. After 15 minutes total time for both lights, I cannot believe I had not done this sooner! I am no longer embarrassed! This kit is a must if you want clear headlights.

Mothers PowerBall 4Lights Headlight Restoration Kit Review

I have two vehicles with cloudy plastic headlight lenses. I have previously tried other headlight lens restorer kits, applying the polish by hand, without success. As Amazon's price for this kit was good, I thought I'd try it.
The kit arrived yesterday, and I tried it on one of the cars. It works! I didn't need to use the pads, the powerball and polish removed all the cloudiness in only a few minutes.
So often, things are advertised that fail to meet expectations. This product actually does exactly what it claims to.

My wife's 2004 Toyota Sienna had one very yellowed lens (the other was already replaced). I was skeptical but thought I'd try the 4lights. It was 30 degrees out so I was expecting to do a "quick and dirty" and have to repeat it later. To my surprise it worked amazingly well. I could see the difference within a few seconds. I made a few extra passes and am very happy. Took 5 minutes total. Well worth the money - one light requires only a little product. It will fling so start slow.

Sylvania 38771 Headlight Restoration Kit Review

This headlight restoration kit works wonders and is easy to use! Made my cloudy headlights like new again and only took about one hour. Just follow the instructions; and suggest you watch the video first. Don't know how long it will last, but even if I have to do it once a year it is still cheaper than replacing the headlight covers which cost over $100.00.

This kit comes with everything except water and a rag to wash/wipe everything down between each step. Before using this kit on a 99 Chrysler 300C.

Everything went very smooth. The part I was worried about was at the end when you installed the clear coat UV protection. This went on very easy. The video shows everything step by step just the way the instructions tell you how to restore your lenses to look just like new.

Only thing I can not vouch for is longevity. This is why I did not give the kit a 5 star review. Even if this kit were to lasts only 12 months it is worth seeing better when driving at night. Still cheaper than spending at least $150.00 on replacement headlight assemblies.

Our headlights were totally cloudy and we never thought they'd come "clean". At the recommendation of the guy at the auto store and after reading reviews we first tried Turtle wax. We spent about an hour on one headlight. It comes with squares of wet sandpaper in different grits and you have to use a lot of elbow grease and even then, there were spots that just wouldn't clear up. However, the lenses were much better. Realizing that the whole secret to headlight restoration is sanding off the oxidation, we decided to buy the 3 M kit and use a power drill. This was much quicker and results were much better. The second headlight probably took only about 30 minutes. Some challenges are sanding on a curved surface and getting the edges with a rotary sander. I manually sanded the edges. Also I kept going through the masking tape to try to get the edges and retaped in spots several times to avoid damaging the paint. Some people who do not have much oxidation are going to be fine with toothpaste or Turtle wax, but if you have lots of oxidation, go with a system that uses a power tool and save yourself some time. The 3M system was expensive for what you got, but if you had to buy 3 different grits of sandpaper, a drill attachment and compound, it would have cost more and there is the convenience factor. My headlights are 100% improved.
