The Logitech G330 makes an affordable entry point into gaming headsets while still delivering good quality and comfort. It is a wired headset and that can be a problem for some people. I tend to roll over mine with my chair or trip over it much to the amusement of my wife.

  • With a noise cancelling microphone and crisp clear sound that can go loud without distortion it's a very pleasant experience.

  • Easily adjust sound level or mute your microphone on the fly.

  • USB connectivity is a must for me anymore, dealing with all the extra wires and hassles of finding the right spot to plug them in is more than i want to deal with.

    Fully adjustable:
  • The behind the head band adjusts and the ear pieces pivot, this is awesome for fat heads like me and also nice for people who hate how their headphones hurt their ears. The comfort is a very strong point for the G330 headset.

    Economical:
  • The price is very nice for a satisfying jump into gaming headsets, at around thirty bucks it's only marginally more than what you would spend at a mega retailer for a mediocre PC headset.

    The Travelite HS-1000W is probably the best wireless gaming headset for the gamer on a budget. It delivers a good gaming experience for the price.

  • At around $50 it's a well performing cheap wireless headset.

    Sound and voice quality:
  • The sound quality is really nice and I have no complaints there. The voice is extremely clear but the microphone does pick up a bit of background noise despite the fact that it's supposed to be noise cancelling.

    Wireless range and battery performance:
  • The wireless range is up to 100 feet, more than enough for any gamer, but a cool feature nonetheless. Battery life is sufficient if charged daily. You can use the charger to power the headset in a pinch as well, though the charger cable is a bit short for my taste.

    Travelite HS-1000W weak points:

    Comfort:
  • These can be a little tight on the head and put too much pressure on the thinly padded ear pieces. While OK for few hours they quickly become uncomfortable after that.
