- I recommend a really good fresh, natural, home-prepared diet (preferably organic) and there is then little need for supplements. If there is already a problem, then there may be some 'catching up' to do, so a really well-devised 'human' supplement, from a respected company that sources optimum and 'clean' ingredients is advisable. Many pet supplements are just in it for the money and sorting out the good from the bad is a minefield.
