Sugar Cookie Recipe

This recipe was given to me by my grandmother about fourteen years ago. She always used to invite me over to her house when I was little to help her make sugar cookies on almost every holiday. Now, I share the joy of making these same delicious sugar cookies with my children throughout the holidays. When I first started making this recipe, I could not get it to taste just like hers. I changed a few parts in the recipe and now they taste perfect. I think this was because my grandmother never had to measure her ingredients. Somehow, she just knew how much to add. Unfortunately, I am not that good and still need to follow a recipe.
