Yoostar 2: In The Movies: Enjoy the fun of putting yourself and your friends into famous movie scenes.

Carnival Games: Monkey See Monkey Do: This fun game includes a bunch of activities that you'd be likely to see on a carnival midway, such as a strength test and a Wheel of Chance, and some activities you probably wouldn't see, like Rocket to Mars and Crash Test Dummy. The silly prizes, including robots and dragons, are so great that you might never go to a real fair again.

Adrenalin Misfits: This boarding game is another great one to play with friends. The characters are supposed to look "cool" and "hip" but end up looking more goofy than anything. However, the game play is still fun and engaging. If you like board-racing games and games in which you do tricks to gain points, you'll like this game.

Twister Mania: Based on the timeless game of colored spots, this brings classic fun to your TV.

Minute to Win It: If you like the TV show, you're sure to like this game!

#5: Wipeout 2

Dodge the Obstacles

Wipeout 2

Amazon Price: $29.99 (as of 05/29/2012)Buy Now
List Price: $49.99

Based on the hit ABC show Wipeout, this game uses the power of the Kinect to let you pit your speed and reaction times against a variety of obstacles. This great party game allows more than one person to play at a time, so you can get plenty of people in on the action. The best part is that you get commentary from the actual show hosts, but you don't have to face physical injury or public humiliation to do so... only your closest friends will know how bad you are! You can also find the original Wipeout game here.

#4: Kinect Adventures

The Original and the Best

Kinect Adventures!

Amazon Price: $3.49 (as of 05/29/2012)Buy Now

This game often comes with the Kinect controller, so it's no surprise that it's a fan favorite. You can enjoy a variety of adventures, from riding a raft down a rushing river, plugging up holes in a leaky piece of glass, or floating around and trying to pop bubbles (with or without a friend to help - or hinder - your progress). The games are easy to learn, but tricky to master, providing plenty of adrenalin-pumping action.

#3: Raving Rabbids: Alive & Kicking

Great To Play With Friends

From the trailer, it looks like this game is going to be all about crazy-looking rabbits (or rabbids, as I guess they'll be called) popping up out of the very floor of your living room, and having to stomp them out of existence. There are also other interesting mini-games included, such as one about using people to fill shapes that looks like it could be surprisingly fun.

Rabbids: Alive & Kicking

Amazon Price: $20.40 (as of 05/29/2012)Buy Now
List Price: $29.99

It's a great way to combine the live-camera capabilities and the motion-sensing capabilities of the Kinect. And it's got up to four-player-at-a-time mode, which is always good for a Kinect game. Of course, you'll have to have plenty of space if you want to play with four players, but it's nice to have the option. Here's a good review on Gamespot that lays out the basics.

Kinect Sports lets you play events based on six different games with your friends - bowling, table tennis, track and field, soccer, boxing, and volleyball. Some games, such as bowling, you can play competitively against other people with each player taking a turn. Others, such as soccer, you can play with multiple people at a time. Dance Central is the quintessential dancing video game involving motion controls. The performance of the Kinect in this game is flawless; you won't find yourself getting angry at problems with the controller. It makes for a great party game because you can simply switch places in front of the television, and you're ready to go. As long as you're willing to take turns, that is! Party games are probably going to be the genre of choice for a while for most Kinect owners. Anyone that has owned a Wii will know exactly what to expect out of most of the releases, too.
