In a world where every single company task involves the use of a computer, not having proper IT maintenance services could spell death for your company. You may think that the bundled IT and networking service provided by these IT companies cost a lot. However, if you look at some of the possible scenarios you might encounter because of the absence of IT specialists, you will soon find yourself changing your opinion about these IT maintenance companies.

Squidoo has nearly worn my Toshiba laptop out. I'll be in the market for a new one soon. Knock on wood...my Toshiba has been flawless over the past few years..Great machine.

this is a totally personal - I think it might be more a functional thing than a brand thing - which is on top at the time your buy one - the big divide seems to be if you are a Bill Gates person or Steve Jobs (ie PC vs Apple)

I really would like to buy one of those laptops you've listed, the HP G7-1310US 17.3 Inch Screen Laptop -- unfortunately it is not shipped yet outside the US - I am living in South Africa, I can wait for a couple of month -- so I'll come back after a while to see if there are changes. Blessed!

I wish I had found this a few weeks ago! I went to the store 4 times before finally settling on one (thank goodness it made this list or I'd be kicking myself). Great lens!

My dad has an HP which I use from time to time. It boots fast, is great and all that, but it seems to overheat easily. So, I'd say HP is good (at least this model).

A lot of great info on Laptops. I like the Ultra-Thin ones, amazing they can really make a laptop computer that thin.

    First, great lens!

I like HP brand. I have stuck with HP laptops ever since I purchased my first HP laptop over 10 years ago. The reason I have stuck with them is because I have yet to run into any problems with them. I have purchased 5 different HP laptop models in the last 10 years. So if reliability is important to you, I can give a thumbs up on HP.

Being the owner of an Acer laptop and being also satisfied with its level of performance... I would vote for Acer :)
