The Best Makeup Book for Teenage Girls

As a mother of two preteen daughters it is important for me to show my daughters how to feel good about themselves emotionally, and how to take care of themselves physically. Unfotunatly in this day and age looks count, especially in the teenagers world. Leading by example (taking care of yourself and wearing tasteful age appropriate makeup) and talking to your daughter about the changes she is going through and the peer pressure to look or be a certain way is always the best. It is a great tool to help her through the teenage years.

There are many other wonderful books on makeup out there. They often show fabulous before and after pictures, but unless you are a professional makeup artist or have one at your beck and call, it is very very hard to get those looks. I like a book that shows girls that they don't have to look like a picture in a magazine ad, that they look beautiful as themselves and shows them how to use makeup tastefully to get a pretty, natural look.
