"I do not back out on my words. That is my Ninja way!" This is one of the memorable lines from Naruto by Kishimoto Masashi which I really can relate to. If i promise to do something, I will surely move heaven and earth to do it. Plus, Naruto is really funny and let's face it. Not only the good guys or the bad one get the girls but men who have great sense of humor does too.

I have been a fan of Naruto for more than three years already and it is one of the first manga that I really keep on reading. I even see a lot of people in my age laughing while watching a Naruto video or reading the Naruto manga in Internet Cafes. Some of my curious friends often ask me what Naruto is and if it is that fun to watch or read? A big yes is always my answer. Once they try to watch a few episodes they became instantly hooked. The story is really amazing and although I am not as dedicated as other people maybe in watching every episodes every week, I make it a point that I will be updated in the manga.

Ichigo Kurosaki has always been able to see ghosts, but this strange ability of his doesn't change his life nearly as much as his close encounter with Rukia Kuchiki, a Shinigami and member of the mysterious Soul Society. What I love about Gamaran is the setting of the story, the story happened in a setting when samurai still considered as one of the most popular technique in killing or defending yourself from your enemy. Plus Gamaran is so cool that he want to defeat his evil father who want to conquer all of japan.

There, one of the son of Washitzu Naosata, Washitzu Naoshi, comes in search of the legendary swordsman, only to find that he had gone missing several years ago. After seeing the battle style of Gama, he instead chooses to ask Gama to come with him. Wanting to become stronger, Gama agrees to his offer, and that marks the beginning of Gama's battle to become the strongest of all . . .

I am a big fan of History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi manga because it is somewhat real compare to other manga like Naruto which has powers, chakra and the like. What made me fell in love with Kenichi character was because he used to be a geek at heart and somewhat coward but learned how to fight for what is right and he learned how to be strong besides who dont want to leave a mark in history and to be known as History's Strongest Disciple.

Shirahama Kenichi is a book lover who has just entered high school, but he is often bullied by others. One day, he became good friends with the new transfer student, Fuurinji Miu, who was also looking for a friend. Kenichi was shocked at how powerful she is at first, but he is still somehow attracted to her.

If you havent read Death note then you are lame and not a full blooded manga lover. Death note is one of my all time favorite manga because its different. Its not an action kind of manga where you can find ninja, swords, and the like. Its a battle of wits and intelligence. This is also the first time i fell in love with both the antagonist and protagonist that it breaks my heart and wanted them to both win or else one to be converted to the beliefs of the other.

Unfortunately, his daily habits bore his incredible intelligence--So when a strange black notebook falls from the heavens during his class, it isn't long before he takes it for himself. Any person's name written in the Death Note will die in 40 seconds as long as the person's name is not the same as some one else. But if the name is unique, the person will die.... without fail.

With this supposed gift of God, Light swears upon his grave that he will 'cleanse' the world of the evil and needless people that inhabit it, thus creating a utopia for all. With the world's greatest detective, L, hot on his tail, will Light's ideals prove too fantastic to realize, or will he succeed bringing justice?

Like Naruto, One Piece is also one of the longest running manga in the otaku world. This manga was released around 1997, that's why I didnt know that One Piece has a manga version because I first saw it in the anime version in one of the local tv channels here in our country. I thought of the main character named Luffy is really likable because he is funny. I remember when i was a little younger that I also dreamed of becoming a pirate someday and i think that's one of the reasons why i like this anime/manga. It is one of those manga that reminds me of my childhood days, how me and my friends play pirates and dreamed of becoming one of the most popular pirate someday, well until Captain Jack Sparrow came which changed my view about pirates and guy liner.

Many background story elements involve the delicate balance of power between the World Government and the world's most powerful pirate crews. Also, the Craziest Crew in the world .

Who said that being a computer genius is not cool? I find Bloody Monday a little bit similar to Death Note Manga because it also contains intense violence and blood/gore. But the difference is Death note combined the lead character's genius with supernatural while Bloody Monday is purely on Takagi's computer skills to stop Bloody Monday from happening.

It is still an ongoing manga which follows the journey of Lucy Heartfilia, a teenage wizard who joins the Fairy Tail wizards' guild and teams up with fellow guild member Natsu Dragneel as he searches for the dragon Igneel.

Fairy Tail won the 2009 Kodansha Manga Award for shounen manga. It has also won The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation's Industry Awards for best comedy manga.

I am a big fan of samurai. Next to martial arts, I think those people who wielded swords to protect, defend and fight is really awesome. Guns are too lame since its easy to kill someone but in movies and tv shows you hardly see heroes getting hit when someone gunned them. Sometimes you will see one or two wounds due to gun shoot, just think how much bullets they wasted just to inflict a gun shot wound. Unlike with swords, there's an actual art and technique to slash your opponent and no one comes near with Kenshin Himura when it comes to using samurai.

I first saw Hunter x Hunter in an anime series but since the manga version is usually ahead of the anime version. I end up reading Hunter x hunter manga version most of the time and do Hunter x Hunter anime marathon after every volume.

Hunters are a special breed, dedicated to tracking down treasures, magical beasts, and even other men. But such pursuits require a license, and less than one in a hundred thousand can pass the grueling qualification exam. Those who do pass gain access to restricted areas, amazing stores of information, and the right to call themselves Hunters. As, Gon discovers that his father was a famous hunter he embarks on a journey to find his father, meeting reliable friends and going on dangerous missions as well.

This is the first time that I hated one of the protagonist in the story. Nao is really honest up to the point that it makes me sick reading this manga. I do not know if Nao is just honest or just plain stupid to fall for tricks that the other players of The Liar Game throw at her. But surely after reading some chapters you will also fall in love with Nao's character.
