Best Marinade Ever

Ranked #15,956 in Food & Cooking, #280,123 overall

This is the best marinade recipe that I've found in a long time !

Who doesn't love to grill???

There's nothing better on a beautiful summer day than to fire up the grill, throw on your favorite cut of meat and take in the aroma as it fills the area with that one of a kind BBQ smell. You can cook that same meat in the oven but it's just not the same. I've been known to stand out by the grill in frigid temperatures just to have some BBQ year round.

But what makes that piece of meat smell and taste like a little bit of heaven??

IT'S THE MARINADE!!

My Favorite Marinade

type=textThis marinade is one of the best that I've used. I've tried it on different types and different cuts of meat and they've all come out fabulous!
It's easy to prepare and it can be stored in a tightly covered glass container in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
Let's get started....

Putting the Marinade together.

INGREDIENTS.....

1 1/2 cups OIL

3/4 cup SOY SAUCE

1/4 cup WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

1/2 teaspoon SALT (or to taste)

3 tablespoons CHOPPED FRESH PARSLEY (or 2 tblsp flakes)

1 teaspoon FRESH GROUND BLACK PEPPER (or to taste)

1/2 cup WINE VINEGAR

2 tablespoons FRESH MINCED GARLIC (or to taste---more is better!!)

1/3 cup TERIYAKI SAUCE

1/2 cup HONEY (no substitute!! must use HONEY)

2 SMALL GREEN ONIONS (optional, chopped)
I'll bet your mouth is watering already !!
SO,

Put all ingredients in a blender... (if you are using the green onions, leave them out and add after blending).

Blend for 30-40 seconds.

THAT'S IT !!!!!!

This should make about 3 1/2 cups of marinade.

NOW YOU TAKE YOUR........

type=textBeef

OR

type=textPork

OR

type=textRibs

OR

type=textLamb
And MARINATE for 8-24 hours.

A SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT CHICKEN.

type=textIf you use this marinade for chicken, marinate for a maximum of 6 hours or the vinegar will start to "cook" the chicken.

Grilling times will vary based on type and cut of meat and your personal preferences.
