Viewing Hint for Foreign Films
For best enjoyment of movies made in China, I recommend you watch them in Chinese with English subtitles. Good films that are otherwise highly entertaining can be ruined by poor English dubbing.

Where's Bruce Lee?
About now, you may be gawking at the screen, jaw dropped to the floor in disbelief. Where's Bruce Lee? Doesn't he rate the top ten? Actually, he sorta does...To be perfectly fair, I have to say this isn't a very scientific list, as it was gleaned from people listing their favorite martial arts movies, not by ranking all the same films. So it's impossible to say where any particular movie should really be placed on the list. I did try to list at the top, though, those that were named the most often.

Also, you should be aware that some of the films have more than one version transferred to DVD. Some DVD's changed the language from Chinese to English. Some cut scenes -- even good fight scenes! So be sure to read the reviews before you buy (or rent).
