The problem with most mini vacuum is they don't hold enough dirt so you will need to empty the bin every couple of minutes. With the Eureka 71B you can clean a significant amount of area before you need to empty the cup.

That long power cord is Very useful because you don't need to keep pluggin and unplugging the vacuum to the power outlet. The cord wrap feature makes storing this vacuum easier.

* Overheating prevention
This little machine automatically shuts off when the motor is too hot. This handy feature ensures this vacuum will stay in service for a long time.

Cons
* A little big and heavy
Some people may argue that the Eureka 71B is not really a mini vacuum considering it's size and weight. Personally I think a 5 pounds vacuum still merit the title "mini" considering that full-size vacuum are much much heavier than that.

Even though it won't get hot enough to burn your hand it still gets pretty hot. Anyway, it's a small inconvenience which can be easily remedied. Just remember to turn it off a couple of minutes when it gets too hot. That will make sure this vacuum will stay in service for a long time.

* Loud
It's not really that loud but if you use it in your office cubicle for a long time your neighbor will certainly complain (or at least look over to see what the heck is making the noise)
