I LUUUUUV monte cristo sandwiches. My favorite so far is at a brewery right across the street from the Long Beach aquarium in California. So good. I will definitely try these monte cristo recipes!

If you have not had one.... you are SOOOO missing out! We seek out restaurants that make good ones! I tried making them but they are very messy with the battered & deep fried. Deep fried is the ONLY way to truly enjoy this sandwich!!! Darn... Now I'll have to go out for lunch & have one LOL

The first Monte Cristo sandwich I ever had was when my husband and I were college students years ago. I thought it was delicious! Fun lens...

The rule in my house is no deep frying... but I do love eating a monte cristo once in awhile in a restaurant.

I had no idea what a monte cristo sandwich was (and now I know why). So it is a fried sandwich. How interesting. And even more interesting is that you actually made it sound delicious, so good in fact, I would try one.
