Educational games disguised as fun! ;)

Electronic Multiplication Games

FlashMaster

There are many different types of multiplication games, but considering the popularity of computer games, and console games like X-box and Nintendo, electronic multiplication games are often more appealing - especially to young teens. Most of these have sound (which can be turned off), lights and sometimes even voices. They all have a scoring and level system which motivates children to achieve better and better results - effectively improving not only their multiplication skills, but their speed in mental calculation.

There is so much more to choose from now. My students would have loved these. They are also good for adults to stay sharp. I've done research, and adults who do math exercises and crossword puzzles have less memory problems.
