Why buying audio gear from online music equipment shops is the best option.

I have been involved in music industry for several years now, and shopping for professional audio gear and musical instruments online has already become my routine. I realized that most kinds of musical equipment is cheaper when purchased online than from local retailers (who often order audio gear from same online sources and then try to profit from your purchase by selling it at higher prices)
Of course, there are also countless stores online, and at some point I spent countless hours looking for the best deals on guitars, amplifiers, computer audio interfaces etc., but it was worth it - it saved me hundreds of dollars so far.
