Got Lemons? Make Lemonade
Many of us had a Lemonade Stand when we were kids. We would engage in guerrilla marketing techniques like blocking traffic while holding up large signs. We may have ridden our bikes around screaming at the top of our lungs, "buy our lemonade."
It never occurred to us we were using offline marketing practices nor that the possibility existed of failing to sell all the lemonade our mom had made for us. Making some money so we could join our best friend at the carnival was the only thing on our mind. It was a given we would succeed and if one car didn't stop then we would make sure the next one did.

Space is Your Business Opportunity
Offline Marketing is all about filling the empty space that presents itself to you. Around every corner and on top of every counter there is space just waiting for your marketing ideas.Engaging your imagination to recognize this Marketing Space is just like being a kid again, selling lemonade. You setup the stand and then go about getting customers to see it. Once a few people drive by without making a purchase you amp up the noise to pull them in.
Filling the space can be as simple as having your little sister twirling a baton in or something more complicated like blocking the road, your friends driving bikes around in a circle, forcing the cars to slow down and stop.
While your mother is red faced at your overt tactics of filling the Marketing Space she is also very proud of your ingenuity and drive.
See empty space as Opportunity. It's all around just waiting for you to plug into it.

- Great offline promotion ideas. I do many of them being in real estate and being so deeply ingrained in the Bucks County market and loving what I do. Thanks for the ideas and reminders!
