SP-560UZ: The Olympus Camera

I purchased this camera early November, ready for a trip to Australia. I also bought the camera case, a 1Gb Xd memory card, and 2 sets of rechargable batteries.

First impressions. Excellent, brillant.

Now I have had more time to play with the camera, there are somethings I will comment on.

The maual supplied with the camera is not bad, but is short as multiple languages are all included in the one booklet. There is a pdf file online which you can download for more advance information.

If like me you have owned a SLR in the pass, the opportunity to use my 52mm filters was possible with the purchase of an adaptor ring from Canada. Send me an email if you want the address.

It seems that using the Olympus Xd memory card makes additional facilities available. Not easy to find the information, an email was sent to customer support who reacted quickly with the information. I decided that I would like the advanced manual as a hard copy. In Euroipe there only seems to be one available, and for a fee, do a photocopy. I you had already been in contact with Olympus customer support there was no charge.
