Amazon, ArtFire, Blujay, eBay, eCRATER, Etsy, Ruby Lane, what is the best online shopping site?

Ranked #986 in Business & Work, #47,684 overall

Amazon, ArtFire, Blujay, eBay, eCRATER, Etsy, Ruby Lane - thumbs up or thumbs down?

There are so many online shopping sites now and I was wondering which sites are more favorable; from a seller's perspective and which site a would buyer prefer.

For sellers, you may consider sales and sales potential, ease of site use (adding listings, uploading images, etc.), how well the site attracts new buyers, and operation of site (downtime, etc).

For buyers you may consider quality of sellers, type of products available, ease of site (i.e. search function, checkout), prices and buyer protection.

I really like Amazon because I can usually find what I need. I really like Etsy because of the creativity of the sellers. Thanks for the interesting lens. :-)

I like eBay for buying obscure items and doing market research. I stopped selling when the fees were hiked. My feedback rating is still 100% after 12 years.

Abandoned ebay because fees going up and market value going down. Plus sellers are
Vulnerable to negative feedback exploitation. Etsy is much cheaper and simpler but take
Much work to get the sales.

I sell jewelry but Etsy is so full of jewelry sellers it is a useless selling site for me.

Etsy is good just a little overcowded with sellers. Amazon is only good for buying. Ebay??
Please! Ebay is just a discount store low profits with high high fees
