Great Outdoor Toys for Boys
Boys love playing outside and these are some of the Best Outdoor Toys that my boys love to play with. If you need ideas for great toys then you have come to the right place. Boys need to get outside and burn off all of the energy they have. Getting them outside in the fresh air and sun is also important for their health. If you keep them busy enough in the backyard hopefully they won't feel a need to play ball in the house. Or at least not as often anyway.

Plasma Car
The Plasma Car is one of the coolest ride on toys I have seen for a while. It has won countless awards since it has become more popular. It started out very well in China. But, no one really tried to sell it in the U.S. or Canada. An Ottawa entrepreneur came across it in a little store and decided to learn more about it. He got distribution rights and changed its name from Fun Car to the PlasmaCar. The car has 6 wheels but, the front 2 are only for stability and don't even touch the ground. They are used in case the rider goes over something like a curb or object on the ground. The next 2 wheels move when the rider turns the steering wheel and cause the PlasmaCar to pull forward. Since the 2 wheels are in back of the actual steering wheel physics make them propel forward using Newton's "action/reaction" law. The car works best on a flat surface like tile. But, it works fine on flat pavement outside too. It is for ages 3 and up and anyone up to 220 pounds.
Trac-Ball
Is loads of fun. I used to play with it all the time when I was a little boy. I was glad that my boys love playing with it as mush as I did. We still use it in our backyard all of the time.
Rocket Balloons are a blast!
My boys love filling these balloons up. Then chasing them all over the yard. They make a cool sound too.
Sky Blaster Shuttle
My boys were amazed at how high this went and how easy it was to shoot.
Swingball and Tetherball
My sons and I love to play tetherball and recently we bought this new game call Swingball. It is very similar except that you use racquets and can actually knock the ball off of the pole to decide the winner. It is also more portable because it has a stand you can fill with water.
Bouncer
tons of high jumping fun.
Scooter
Nerf
Sandbox
Boys love to build and play in the sand. You can also use the sandbox toys on trips to the beach.
Snow Toys
It is pretty cold in New England. My kids love sledding, building snowmen and of course throwing snow balls.

- Really brought back some memories of the sand box days. I think all adults still secretly would like to play with their kids toys and maybe do when the kids aren't home. Or they use the excuse of playing with the kids in order to do so.
